16 Cardiac Arrest Survivor Alliance™ The Cardiac Arrest Survivor Alliance™ (CASA) is a program of the Sudden Cardiac Arrest Foundation that provides recovery-focused support for cardiac arrest survivors and their loved ones. CASA offers a free online community with evidence-based resources, peer support, and educational programming informed by clinicians, researchers, and individuals with lived experience. Recent initiatives include: Quarterly “Welcome to CASA” Orientation Sessions – Guided introductions to the online community, available resources, and engagement opportunities. CASA en Español – A Spanish-language public website (https://es.casahearts.org/) and discussion group to increase accessibility. Virtual meetups and educational webinars – Covering topics such as exercise after sudden cardiac arrest, living with an ICD, discharge planning, psychological care, and quality of life. Members can also join regional groups to connect with others nearby.
